Do you take insurance?

Unfortunately, no.

 

Our practice operates on a concierge model and does not directly bill insurance companies. We focus on providing comprehensive, personalized care that often extends beyond traditional insurance coverage limitations.

We believe this model allows us to spend the necessary time with each patient to address complex concerns without the constraints of insurance-dictated appointment lengths or treatment protocols.

Do you replace my regular OBGYN?

No, our practice is designed to complement, not replace, your existing OBGYN care.

Your regular OBGYN should continue to provide essential services including:

  • Annual gynecological exams and Pap smears

  • Routine screening and preventive care

  • Obstetric care if you become pregnant

  • Emergency gynecological issues

  • Surgical/office procedures if needed​

Our role is to dive deeper into the root causes of your symptoms using advanced testing and personalized treatment protocols. We often work collaboratively with your existing healthcare team to ensure comprehensive, integrated care that addresses both your immediate health needs and long-term wellness goals.

Think of us as your specialized partner in optimizing your hormonal health and addressing complex women's health concerns that may require a more detailed, functional medicine approach.

Do I have to do a membership?

Our practice operates on a concierge membership model to ensure we can provide the comprehensive, ongoing support for optimal results.

​

We do offer individual consultations for those who want to explore our approach or seek a second opinion. However, prescription medications cannot be provided through individual consultations alone.

​

We also work with clients through our 12 week hormone precision program and our 16 week midlife renewal program. These programs are intensives and mirror the access and support available in our Transform membership. After these programs care can be continued via a membership program if clients would like with the initial consultation fee waived.

​

Why we require membership for prescriptions: our treatment plans require careful monitoring, regular follow-ups, and ongoing adjustments to achieve the best outcomes. The membership model ensures you have continuous access to our medical team for questions, concerns, and treatment modifications as your body responds to therapy.

This approach allows us to:

  • Monitor your progress closely and adjust treatments as needed

  • Provide timely support when questions arise

  • Ensure safe and effective medication management

  • Maintain the therapeutic relationship necessary for complex hormonal treatments

Individual consultations are perfect for initial evaluations, treatment plan discussions, or educational purposes, while memberships provide the ongoing clinical relationship required for safe prescriptive care.

Do programs/memberships include the price of labs or medications?

Laboratory Testing:

  • Transform Membership: Lab costs are included in your membership fee and labs are performed at home

  • Navigate and Optimize Memberships: Labs are billed through your insurance, which may result in copay charges depending on your specific plan coverage

  • All programs: Labs are billed through insurance

Medications and Supplements:

Prescription medications and supplement costs are separate from all program and membership fees. However, as a member benefit, you'll receive exclusive discounts on our curated supplement recommendations that are specifically selected to support your treatment protocols.

This structure allows us to provide flexible options while ensuring you have access to the highest quality testing and therapeutic products at preferred pricing.

Do you offer hormone therapy?

Yes, hormone therapy is one of our core specialties! We provide comprehensive bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and other hormonal treatments tailored to your individual needs and laboratory results.

Our approach goes beyond simply prescribing medication—we provide comprehensive metabolic health optimization. There is no separate program for GLP-1 medications but may be incorporated as part of your membership.

What is a health coach?

A health coach is a trained professional who partners with you to create sustainable lifestyle changes that support your health goals. Unlike traditional medical providers who focus on diagnosing and treating disease, health coaches concentrate on empowering you to make informed decisions about your daily habits, nutrition, stress management, and overall wellness.

In our practice, our health coaches work closely with our medical team to help you implement the personalized recommendations from your treatment plan. Health coaching is included as a benefit in the Precision Plus Membership and is an optional add on for the Core Membership.

Coaches provide ongoing support, accountability, and practical guidance to help you navigate challenges such as:

  • Implementing dietary changes to support hormone balance

  • Developing stress management techniques

  • Creating sustainable exercise routines

  • Optimizing sleep hygiene

  • Building healthy lifestyle habits that complement your medical treatment

Our health coaches serve as your advocate and guide, helping bridge the gap between medical recommendations and real-life implementation. They're equipped to help you overcome obstacles, celebrate victories, and maintain motivation throughout your wellness journey.

Unlimited visits?

Yes you read that right! Our Transform membership and all specialized programs include unlimited visits. We believe you are paying money to have the time and support you need from Dr Emont and you should dictate when you feel like you need to follow up.

​

All efforts will be made to ensure at least weekly availability with Dr Emont. If for some reason you do not see an open time and you need sooner support, please reach out to Dr Emont directly to coordinate a time for your follow up.

If I send a message when can I expect a response?

If communicating through Practice Better, Dr Emont will respond to all messages within 24 hours (although often sooner). If communicating via text message, responses will typically be within 3 hours. 

​

If there is any anticipated deviation from this schedule, for example due to a vacation or family event, Dr Emont will make you aware well in advance so you can plan accordingly.
